CGAPC, alongside Father English Food Pantry was chosen as the "Community Garden Community Champion" by City Green, Inc for their "Greenest Place in Paterson Garden Contest". We won for our work on Father English Community Garden project where we are growing vegetables on 23 beds.

The newest project undertaken by CGAPC is perhaps its most ambitious project to date.
Father English Community Garden in Paterson will provide fresh vegetables to
hundreds of food-insecure people supported by Father English Pantry.
When CGAPC first undertook this project, the entire garden was overrun by weeds, 3
feet or taller, as it had not been worked for the last several years due to a lack of
volunteers.
Our team of volunteers have been working tirelessly to clean out the weeds, repair
some of the twenty-three (23) raised beds, improve the soil and prepare the entire
garden for planting in May.
The plan is to grow vegetables and herbs as well as create a small pollinator garden for
educational purposes.
This project is a collaboration with City Green Inc. part of Passaic County's Dig In!
initiative.
